Awards & Nominating Committee

It is the responsibility of the FFI Board of Directors' Awards & Nominating Committee to review those nominations that are received during a given year and make recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding final approval and presentation.  Specific nominations may be forwarded to other Board Committees for initial review and recommendation to assist the Awards & Nominating Committee.  There shall be at least five (5) FFI members on the committee, three (3) of which must be current members of the FFI Board of Directors.

Nomination Deadline & Online Submissions

The Awards & Nominating Committee shall announce that awards nominations are being accepted well in advance of the June 1 deadline for submitting award nominations.  All nominations must be submitted using the online nomination form which can be found by clicking here.

Awards & Nominating Committee Charge

The Awards & Nominating Committee charge is to uphold the integrity of the FFI Awards Program. It is not necessary for presentation of each award every year; rather,  awards shall be presented only when nominations are received and approved for recognition of individuals or groups for outstanding achievement, service and/or contribution to FFI. If the Committee identifies an individual or group that is worthy of a FFI Award, the Committee may at its prerogative nominate such an individual or group during their annual committee meeting. The Awards & Nominating Committee shall determine those nominations to be forwarded to the Board of Directors for final approval.
