Albany, Oregon – March 7^th & 8^th 2025 – The much-anticipated Northwest Fly Tyer & Fly Fishing Expo is returning to Albany, Oregon, on March 7^th & 8^th, 2025, bringing together anglers, fly tyers, outdoor enthusiasts, and professionals from across the west. Taking place at the Linn County Expo Center, Albany, Oregon This event is an unparalleled celebration of the art and craft of fly tying and fly fishing.

Now in its 37th year, the Northwest Fly Tyer & Fly Fishing Expo promises an exciting array of activities for both newcomers and seasoned anglers. The event showcases over 150 expert fly tyers demonstrating their craft, as well as interactive workshops, seminars, and exhibits designed to educate, inspire, and connect the fly fishing community.

Event Highlights:

• Live Fly Tying Demonstrations and Tying Classes: Witness intricate fly designs created by top-tier tyers.
• Casting Demonstrations and Casting Classes: Learn from the pros that are FFI Certified Casting Instructors. Single hand and 2 hand casting.
• Learn about Fly Fishing Tenkara and Euro Nymphing:
• Educational Seminars: Learn from the pros with topics ranging from conservation, tying, casting techniques to fly fishing strategies. Where when and how to get started.
• Workshops: Hands-on sessions to enhance your skills, whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine advanced techniques.
• Exhibitor Booths: Browse the latest gear and innovations from leading brands in the fly fishing industry.
• Youth Activities: Introduce kids to the joy of fly fishing with activities tailored to spark their interest. This new youth program will include raffles each day for a youth to win a fly rod & reel or a tying kit.
• Live Auction, Silent Auction & Raffles: Bid on premium gear, artwork, and more, with proceeds supporting fly fishing education and conservation efforts.
• Banquet and Live Auction Friday Night: March 7^th, 2025, in the Exhibit Hall 5PM –9PM Full Dinner Tickets $10.00 Sponsored by Oregon Council of Fly Fishing International.

Celebrate Conservation

Fly fishing is deeply tied to conservation, and the Northwest Fly Tyer & Fly Fishing Expo is proud to support local and regional efforts to protect aquatic habitats and fish populations. Proceeds from the event help fund conservation programs, youth education initiatives, and community outreach projects.

Admission: Adults $10 a day, free for kids 17 & under. Free for Adults that bring children under 17 to join in our new free Youth Fly Tying and Fly Fishing Program. Free for all Expo Volunteers, Veterans and Fly Fishers International Members (FFI) Join or renew your FFI membership when you arrive and get a FFI Membership Drive Raffle Ticket to win a fly rod. Winner will be drawn each day. Do not need to be present to win.
