53rd Annual Western Idaho Fly Fishing Expo

National Speakers, Guides, Gear, and Demonstrations Set to Entertain and Educate New and Seasoned Fly Anglers

(Boise, ID) - The Boise Valley Fly Fishers is proud to announce the 19th Annual Western Idaho Fly Fishing EXPO on January 31- February 1, 2025. The event will be held at Expo Idaho in Garden City.

Fly Fishing EXPO 2025 will kick off Boise Valley Fly Fishers’ (BVFF) 53rd year as a non-profit education and conservation club. For 20 years, BVFF has presented this world-class event in Boise. Each year this two-day event has had attendance of over 2,500 with numerous exhibitors and powerful educational programs.  

The popular event will feature:

  • An indoor casting pond where experts will demonstrate effective casting techniques.
  • Nationally recognized fly tyers from all over the west will demonstrate their skills in small group settings where attendees can ask questions and learn from some of the best.
  • Experts from around the country will give demonstrate the latest fishing techniques for different fish species, where to fish, and much more.
  • Exhibitors will showcase all the gear including latest rods, reels, fly tying equipment and more.

Whether you’ve never fly fished before or consider yourself an experienced fly angler there’s something for you at the Western Idaho Fly Fishing Expo 2025!

Funds from EXPO funds numerous fishing access projects, conservation training, fly fishing education, and youth programs. The club also works closely with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, Oregon Fish and Wildlife, Trout Unlimited, Fly Fishers International and others to protect and enhance the fish habitats, promote access, and promote the sport of fly fishing.
