15th Annual Rio Grande Rodeo

The 15th Annual Rio Grande Rodeo is a fly-fishing only event where participants will fish for the invasive Rio Grande Cichlid in the waters of the metropolitan New Orleans, Louisiana area. The Rio Grande and Lowland cichlids are abundant in the local waters. The Louisiana Department of Wildlike & Fisheries have asked that they be removed from the water if caught. It is open to all fly fishers. A portion of the proceeds from the Rio Rodeo are donated to Casting for Recovery.
