Fly Fishers International (FFI) has been an organized voice for fly fishers around the world since 1964. We represent all aspects of fly fishing –from the art of fly tying and casting, to protection of the natural systems that support healthy fisheries and their habitats so essential to our sport. Today, our mission is to ensure the legacy of fly fishing for all fish in all waters continues by focusing on conservation, education and a sense of community.
Fly Fishers International’s mission is to support, enhance, and preserve fly fishing opportunities, and encourage conservation, education, and community — and we rely on memberships to achieve those goals. Your membership supports all the activities FFI does throughout the year. Click to become an FFI member today!
Fly Fishers International will be at all the Fly Fishing Shows around the country this spring. Our volunteers working in the Learning Center, teaching people to tie flies, knots and cast a line (depending on availability of casting space). Come join the fun. If you cannot make it to one of the Fly Fishing Shows, check out the other events that FFI offers. Click here for the calendar of events.

The Board of Directors approved a Policy Statement on Climate Change at their meeting on November 26. It is the policy of Fly Fishers International to advocate scientifically sound public policies, management practices and educational efforts to minimize and mitigate accelerated rates of climate changes caused by human activities.
