John presents about the spiritual connection we have, as fly fishers, to waters.  This insight is based on his experience supervising the fly fishing scenes on the timeless film A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT, my two books, SHADOWCASTING and GRACED BY WATERS, his travels across the the globe for my TV series, ADVENTURE GUIDES FLY FISHING EDITION (Outdoor Channel, NBC Sports) as well as my 35 years of guiding in the Roaring Fork valley near Aspen Colorado.  His latest book, GRACED BY WATERS (published by Post Hill Press, a partner of Simon & Schuster) is about fly fishing and the transformational power of nature to heal.  The book launched in 2020.  For more information and to learn more about my background, please go to www.castlecreekproductions.com.

Another presentation that has been well received is called "Fishing in England: The Chalk Streams and Beyond" which encompasses the history, traditions, flies, and fishing on famous English rivers such as the Test, Itchen, Eden, and Eamont.  This is a great show for mixed audiences and banquets, etc.  An interactive presentation about rigging and tackle.  "Reel to Fly: an Integrated System from Backing to Tippet".  Learn about fish fighting strategies and show some interesting and often overlooked ideas about tackle and how it actually works.
