The Upper Midwest Council will hold the 5th annual Fly Fishing School on June 21- 23, 2019 in the Rochester, Minnesota area. The Fly Fishing School is open to FFI members as well as to the general public. Registration fees for the general public will include a membership to the FFI. The school will offer classes in fly tying and casting for the beginner as well as those with more experience. The Rochester is close to the Driftless area renown for miles of trout rivers and streams. The fly fishing school will be held at the Rochester Community & Technical College, 851 30th Ave SE, Rochester, MN 55904. Accommodations have been arranged at the Comfort Suites at 4141 Maine Ave SE, Rochester MN 55904 at a rate of $117.00 per night.

Registration Fees FFI member Individual $150.00 Couple or Parent/Youth $225.00 (Youth - ages 15-18)
Non FFI member Individual $180.00 Couple or Parent/Youth $255.00 (non member fee includes FFI membership)
Registration fees cover all classes for the weekend and the lunch on Saturday. Not covered by the registration fee is the BBQ meal on Saturday evening and motel accommodations. The non FFI member fee also includes a $35.00 individual membership to the Fly Fishers International for one year.
