Clean Water Act Action Needed
There will be a joint hearing on the EPA and Army Corps clean water rulemaking on Febuary 4, 2015.  This is a unique opportunity to take advantage of unprecedented congressional and media attention to the rulemaking. It’s also critical that we make the strongest case possible in this window of opportunity for protecting clean water for hunting and fishing so we don’t lose the momentum behind the effort. Click here to see what your Council and club can do.

Fly of the Month:
Sandy Mite

Creator:  Franz Pott
Guest Tier:  Chuck Collins

Whether you want to tie one of your old favorites or try a western classic, Chuck Collins will show you how to tie a simplified version of this classic fly. Franz Pott made a elaborate weave that meshed together hair and thread to make a homemade hackle. He patented this process in the 1930's. What makes this a simple version is that it does not use the homemade hair hackle. Read more>>
